I found a person who would be celebrating her 200th birthday today, and I have a hard time ignoring such an event. In this case, I have already written a post about this birthday girl. Also, by re-blogging that post, it will free me up to get some museum business off my to-do list. I noticed something in this previous post. I had Rosina Schlimpert’s birthday wrong. I have corrected that mistake now. Also, I might add that a few months after I wrote this post and asked a question about Rosina’s grandson, Otto’s, homicide, I was able to find some answers to that question and wrote a post, Cousin Baptism Twins, that contains additional information. Perhaps you might want to read that one too.

I found a newspaper article in Find A Grave for Otto Goehring who was murdered in 1922…I can’t figure out how to paste it here though… I just did a Google search for “Otto Goehring homicide Missouri”
