The Work of Our Ancestors

I am on a quick road trip to visit family, so I am going to give more of my time to them than to writing a new blog post. I found this old article that was published on today’s date way back in 2016, the inaugural year of this blog. It highlighted a group of visitors and their old Model T cars that stopped by our museum. I will use this story to connect to a present-day happening. In our new gallery, we have been preparing a new exhibit which is designed to go along with our upcoming Immigration Conference, which will be held on October 26-28. This new exhibit is titled, The Work of Our Ancestors, and it includes a 1925 Model T Ford.

This exhibit might be described as a walk down memory lane. In fact, it might be more aptly described as your grandparents’ walk down memory lane. This exhibit will be on display until it’s time for us to put up our annual Christmas Tree exhibit in November. In fact, I hear there are plans to keep some of the items in this exhibit to be part of the Christmas display, including the Model T . As always, our museum has free admission. Come on by and take a stroll. And if you’re interested in attending our Immigration Conference in October, now is the time to sign up. Click on the “Conference 2023” tab for details.
