I will be making pork sausage today, so I have no time for research. However, I did run across this post that was published on this day 7 years ago. It is one that I enjoyed writing, so I will share it once again today. It tells the story of a Perry County boy who moved to Illinois and became involved in the beer-brewing business. Not only was beer produced in this area during past years, but I have run across several stories like that of Martin Palisch who moved elsewhere to become part of the beer business.

I would love to taste one of those Red Seal beers.
