I’ve been in eastern Kentucky the last couple of days visiting our daughter, son-in-law and grandson. I couldn’t decide earlier in the week what my blog topic was going to be this week, and now I see that Warren forgot again that he can take Fridays off. I’ll take advantage of that fact and make this an abbreviated Museum Musings.
As you may have noticed, nothing new has been posted on the museum’s Facebook page for over two weeks now. This is because everyone associated with it has lost access to that page when Warren’s personal page got hacked. He has since been able to recover access to his own page, but no one is yet able to post anything to the museum’s page (and the automatic posting of blogs on our website to our Facebook page has stopped as well).
We have spent a lot of time the last couple of weeks trying to remedy this situation to no avail. We have combed through every area of Facebook Help that we can. Warren is the only one that Facebook seems to recognize as ever having had access to the page, and he has gone through the prescribed steps to regain access several times; all he ever gets is assurance that “they will get back to him soon.”
If anyone has any suggestions, we would love to hear them. You can leave a comment to this post, or email me at lutheranheritagecenter@gmail.com. Thanks!
