The Tree Stories Continue

The staff at our museum has a very busy day today because it is Day 2 of the annual Christmas Country Church Tour and hundreds of visitors will likely walk through our doors today between 10 o’clock this morning until 9 o’clock tonight. Therefore, I will post this story that was published back in 2017. It is actually a story I wrote about our Christmas tree exhibit with the focus on the fact that so many of our trees are not only works of art and are beautiful to view, but they also tell stories.

Some of the trees highlighted in this past post are ones that are included in our exhibit almost every year and several are indeed part of this year’s display. However, I will point our that there are plenty of new additions that have been added over the years and some brand new ones that are found in our musuem for the first time this year.

We hope you get to visit our museum this Christmas season, and if you can manage to get there today, it will be especially exciting to join so many others who will be there. I know I love to hang around the musuem during the Christmas Country Church Tour because there always are people who visit that I haven’t seen for many years. The weather looks great for visiting us and other local churches that are open for this tour. Even if you cannot come today, perhaps you can visit our museum between now and January 15th when the exhibit ends.

Below is a video that gives little glimpses of what you may see in this year’s Christmas display which is titled, Ring Christmas Bells.
