I have some obligations today that make it difficult to compose an original post. Instead, I am once again sharing a post that was previously placed on this blog. This one happens to be a fairly recent one. I wrote it earlier this year in January. It told of the bicentennial birthday of Joseph Pilz. He is described in the title as the father-in-law of another Joseph…Joseph Lichtenneger. Today happens to be the special birthday of another person in this family. The daughter of Joseph Pilz who would later marry Joseph Lichtenegger, according to our German Family Tree, was born on March 25, 1851, thus making today her 175th birthday. Her name was Anna Maria Pilz.
In that previous post, this image was displayed of Anna Marie’s baptism record from Bad Goisern, Austria. The problem that I see is that it looks like the date of birth was March 26th, not March 25th. If that is when she was actually born, then tomorrow will be her 175th birthday.

In another photo placed in another previous post, The Pioneer Lichtenegger, Anna Maria’s gravestone has the birth date of March 25, 1851 on it. I choose to call Anna Maria “Mama Lichtenegger” today.

I have not placed Maria Lichtenegger’s death certificate in any post on this blog before, but I can place it here today. This document is another one that says she was born on March 25th.

I will leave it up to you whether Anna Maria would be celebrating her birthday today or tomorrow.
