I will be on the road again today, so I only have a bit of time to put together a post. Today, I thought you might find it useful to look quickly at a variety of ways to view previous posts that have been written on this blog.
The most useful way to find a post that might be of particular interest to you is to utilize the search box that is located on our website. The search box may be located in different spots depending on whether you view our website on a computer, a tablet, or a phone. If you are especially interested in finding previous posts that have been about characters that share your family’s surname, you can simply type that surname in the search boy, hit enter, and a listing of posts containing that name will appear. Using more than one surname will focus more on a particular story that might interest you. For example, putting the surname of your grandfather and your grandmother’s maiden name might direct you to such a story.
I am going to display a list of previous posts that has just recently been showing up when I take a look at the statistics for our website. It lists the posts that have previously been written on today’s date. I wish all of you could see this list, but as for now, only website administrators can view it. Here is the list that showed up this morning for August 20th.

If you are looking for a post that was written on a particular date, that can be done also. There is a list of Archives on our website. That list has grown to become quite large, but if you were looking for a story written on July 25, 2021, simply scroll down to “July 2021” and click on it. A listing of all the posts written during that month will appear. Scroll down to the specific date, and if a post was written on that date, you can click on it to view it.
Especially if you personally have a family connection to the history of East Perry County, and if you find our blog to be useful for researching your family tree, please let others in your family know about our website. Also, if you would like to receive a notification whenever a new post appears, you can subscribe to our blog by entering your email to make that happen. You can find the place to subscribe under the Archives list.
Thanks for reading our stories.
