The Wiehe Pipe Organ

I am going to use a photograph as the centerpiece of today’s post.  I must admit this one made me chuckle.  The photo shows a South Dakota family’s children standing in a row with the caption, “S.D. 1890 Census Problem

Today’s story comes out of this curious set of records found in our German Family Tree.
