It is a joy to direct both the Lutheran Heritage Center and the Cape Girardeau County History Center.  Many of the History Center docents and board were able to visit the LHC for a tour of the trees and a fun luncheon on Tuesday.  Pictured below is Nona, who volunteers in Jackson and is also connected to the immigration story in Altenburg.  There are several others who have connections at both sites.

I’m honored to spend time with these teams.  If you volunteer your time at a cultural non-profit, thank you.  We are able to run cultural heritage tourism sites because of all of the time, treasure, and talent you share with us.
