A few morning sprinkles did absolutely nothing to dampen Day #2 of the 2019 edition of the East Perry Community Fair.  All the events were conducted as planned, and as far as I could tell, a good time was had by all.  There was no way, however, for me to document all that was going on during the day.  Trying to do so would have impeded my own enjoyment of the food, drink, and fellowship that I was able to savor.  This year my picture-taking focused on the crowds, the booths, the exhibits, the animals, and the mule jump.  So here we go.  As usual, the thumbnails in the galleries are enlargeable by clicking on them.

Musical entertainment could be enjoyed almost all day long.

I have been told that the annual Mule Jump has taken place at this fair since the 1980’s.  It has been a big draw for many years.  This year’s contest was no different.  Three different categories of mules participated in this event.  Below are photos showing the crowd, the mules in action, and probably a record-setting youngest mule handling apprentice, coming in at the age of three.

Another fair is history.  Now it’s time to head to church for worship, say farewell to some grandkids and granddogs, and then take some time to relax.  I suspect I have a nap or two in my future.  Zzzzz…….
