Not Your Familiar Family Tree Story

I primarily write stories on this blog about family trees. The attached post was written back in 2016, the inaugural year of this blog, and it highlighted an actual tree, a catalpa tree. It is one that has been seen in a prominent place in Altenburg for lots of years, located at the intersection of Highway C and Highway A (Main Street).

Back in those early days, I had not yet developed a typical style to the blog posts that I wrote, and those early posts, like this one, were quite short. By the way, I still attempt to keep our blog posts short enough so that people will continue to read them to the end. Perhaps I should find more stories like this one to provide more variety to our posts.

We are in the pumpkin season right now. I miss seeing pumpkins for sale at the old Steffens Fruit Stand.
