I should be back in the business of writing new stories tomorrow, but today is a travel day for me. I picked out this previously published post from the archives because the main character in it, Herman Lungwitz, was born on October 7, 1854. That means he would be celebrating his 170th birthday today.

After marrying Mathilda Meyr, he and his wife had 10 children according to our German Family Tree. You can see in the featured photo attached to this post that Herman and Mathilda are surrounded by a legion of Lungwitz’s.
