I thought you might like to know why I shared an old story yesterday and am sharing another one today. It just requires one word to explain why. Grandkids.
I have written two different blog posts that focus on a St. Louis business that I call Telle’s Deli. The one attached to today’s post was originally written on May 27th because it includes a birthday girl. A few years before that one was published, the first post mentioning Telle’s Deli showed up on this blog back in 2017. That one can be read by clicking on the link below.

With its location in downtown St. Louis, I figure the deli owned and operated by G.M. Telle was a rather popular eatery in that city. Perhaps there was a large clientele of people who ate lunch at this delicatessen on days when they worked in the downtown area.
